Our Story: Welding is in the Gonchar DNA. Founder Slavic Gonchar grew up watching his father work with steel, but his own professional journey began on a massive scale.

From Ships to Homes (2009 – 2019): At age 19, Slavic began working at a shipyard in Anacortes, Washington. For 10 years, he helped construct 300-foot vessels, rising from a ship fitter to a Foreman running 7-man crews. In the shipyard, quality control is rigorous and mistakes aren't an option.

Gonchar LLC (2019 – Present): In 2019, Slavic brought that industrial-grade discipline to the residential market. What started as a passion for high-quality metalwork has grown into a premier fabrication company.
